It affects us all!

Over the past decade I have seen our Mule and Blacktail deer herds dwindle. The ODFW REPORTS show the herds on the decline, but from my experience, and others that spend as much time in the Oregon woods as much as I do, I would say our problem is more drastic than that on public ground. I know for a fact that in some units majority of the deer counted are on private ground. Why is that? In some cases its because of the predator control that takes place on those lands. My friends at Montana Wild made the great video below addressing the predator problem for landowners, but the predator problem is one that we all have to pay attention to. Its to the point that we hunters, as conservationist, have to key in on predators. As the winter sets in and your other seasons wear down, get out and help our herds....shoot predators....by any legal means possible...its getting that bad. Hopefully this video will shed some light on the situation.
