Hello everyone, lets use this thred to introduce ourselves.
I’m Nate Bailey, I live in Southern Oregon and have a beautiful wife Misty, and three boys, Aaron,Gage, and Chase. I love to deer hunt, bear hunt, waterfowl hunt, and steelhead fish, but my passions are Barebow Elk Hunting in the Rutt and Swinging softhackles for monster trout. I am active in conservation as the TRCP ambassador for Oregon, and have been appointed the ODFW’s habitat and access committe.

I started the facebook group, Barebow Hunters and this site to expand the #barebowculture.
If you would like to contact me you can message me here and on just about anyother social outlet. Im looking foward to meeting all of you.
Nate

My Name is Jacob. I've been shooting and making bows since I was old enough to run out the backdoor into the woods. About 10 years ago I was lucky enough to stumble across a copy of the Traditional Bowyers Bible Vol 1 while hanging out in my Brother's woodshop, couldn't put the book down and fell in love with the simple elegant beauty of a stick with a string. I just moved out to the east of the Cincinnati Area to a place with a couple acres and room to build a real workshop. I love Traditional archery and the spirit of passing on the old ways. I have found the tradbow community quite welcoming and am really excited to see this site develop. My primary purpose in posting on here is in hopes that I can find someone who would be my mentor on my journey from being a bowyer and target shooter to a true hunter in the traditional Spot and Stalk style. As I mentioned I am east of Cincinnati but am certainly willing to travel to learn. I don't know if this is the place to be putting this out here but I figured I would give it a try and see what comes of it.
Nate thanks for giving us the opportunity to come a sit around the campfire together. :)
